Paradise' is where our visitors say we live! In a tiny hamlet at the end of a small lane with no through traffic, tranquil, very safe and yet within easy driving distance from all amenities. The house was completed in May 2008, by a reputable builder in Limoges.
The living accommodation is all on one level and underneath is a vast sous-sol or underbuild/ garage which would be easily converted to a large self contained apartment.
The main house has a large master bedroom with walk in wardrobe, en suite bathroom and French doors leading on to the spacious, fully tiled terrace that overlooks the valley. The dining room, living room, and guest bedroom all have the same French doors and also lead directly onto the beautiful terrace. The two guest bedrooms are both doubles and the rooms are all fully carpeted. A fully tiled shower room leads off the hall between these two bedrooms.The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob and fitted electric oven. A small utility room leads off the kitchen and has a toilet, broom cupboard, and freezer. The house is built so that the two guest bedrooms and shower room are apart from the master bedroom at the far end of the house, giving total privacy. The heating is oil fired and the modern tank is in the sous-sol, which has a new electric garage door, giving easy access for refilling. The house is very thermally efficient, all of the radiators have thermostatic valves and the bathroom and shower room both have heated towel rails run from this system. There is almost silent air conditioning (which requires repair) in the master bedroom, living room and guest bedroom. The vents are fitted in the ceiling and are very discreet.
The whole property is double glazed with exterior shutters and electric roller shutters to the kitchen door and window.
The property stands in it's own grounds, bounded by hedges which surround the house and there is a small copse. Mature shrubs and lawn mean that it is easily maintained. The main double gates lead to the garage/sous-sol over a rose granite lock block drive with extra shady parking under the terrace. There is a pedestrian gate leading to a tiled path under an archway of roses and clematis. Our small commune is very friendly without being intrusive and although the shops are within a five minute drive, we have a bread delivery three times a week and there is a frozen food delivery that can be ordered online. There is no school in the village and the house is really more suited to retired or semi retired people.
It is wheelchair accessible. There is a telephone line with sockets in multiple rooms and Wimax internet access is installed as is Freesat with all UK channels. This property really is immaculate and totally ready to move into.

The night sky is also wonderful. We regularly watch the NASA space station fly over.
